BURLINGTON, Vt., April 16 – U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) issued the following statement after President Donald Trump vetoed the resolution to end U.S. support for the Saudi-led war in Yemen:


“I am disappointed, but not surprised, that Trump has rejected the bi-partisan resolution to end U.S. involvement in the horrific war in Yemen. The people of Yemen desperately need humanitarian help, not more bombs. My colleagues and I will continue our efforts to reassert Congress’ constitutional responsibility over war making and end U.S involvement in unauthorized and unconstitutional wars.”  Read More
